Insta360 GO 2 is a miniscule action camera that weighs less than an ounce

When you’re on the move and trying to keep up with the action, the last thing you want is a hefty camera weighing you down. The Insta360 GO 2 is the perfect solution to this problem. At only 27 grams, the camera weighs less than an ounce but still provides high-resolution, hands-free recording with an action camera.

The Insta360 GO 2 includes a 1/2.3-inch image sensor that yields 1440p videos, ensuring high-quality results no matter what you’re recording. Whether you post your videos on your social media feed or to a dedicated YouTube channel, they’ll stand out. The signature FlowState stabilization and horizon leveling algorithms mean your video will be steady no matter how many bumps you hit or hills you crest.

The GO 2 Charge Case lets you keep your power level up even on the go. Just snap it into the case and the GO 2 will be charged in half an hour. Between its normal charge and the case, the GO 2 can keep filming for up to 150 minutes before it requires a dedicated charge at home — that’s nearly double the length of most action cams.

The GO 2 case also acts as a remote, a tripod, and a handheld grip. You can control the GO 2 from up to 33 feet away tusing the Charge Case’s Bluetooth connection.

If you’re hitting the waves, the GO 2 can withstand water up to 13 feet thanks to its IPX8 waterproofing. The scratchproof, hardened glass Lens Guard protects the lens from dirt, debris, and even the gnarliest wipeouts.

Perhaps the most interesting feature of the GO2 is the ultrawide, adjustable field of view. You can choose exactly which angle you need to capture the perfect shot. The 120-degree Ultra Wide FOV is perfect for landscape shots, while a 110-degree ActionView works best for those first-person perspectives.

When you’re done shooting, you might be too tired to bother editing. The FlashCut 2.0 feature lets A.I. handle the editing for you, cutting your clips into a cohesive story and setting them to the perfect tunes.

The Insta360 GO 2 action camera is available today at retailers around the world and from Insta360.com for $300.

Modular Insta360 One R now uses A.I. for better photos, livestreams in 360
insta360 one r review inch mod 8038

Part of what makes the Insta360 One R an adaptive camera, beside the modular design, are the updates -- and the company is making good on that promise with a list of new updates it has launched. The modular action camera now uses artificial intelligence to create HDR-like photos, uses a higher bit rate for more detail, offers a new webcam mode, and can stream live videos in 360.

PureShot is a new stills mode for the modular camera that uses A.I. to increase the dynamic range of photos while reducing noise in low light. Insta360 says the mode offers a result similar to using auto exposure bracketing to combine shots in post, but is done in-camera with one tap.
