Casio today debuted some new additions to their Exilim line of digital cameras. The EX-Z110 and EX-Z120 will both be available in early to mid September for $279 and $329 respectively.
The six megapixel EX-Z110 and 7.2 megapixel EX-Z120, said Casio, share many features in common. They feature the Exilim line’s quick operating, low power image processing module, an anti-shaking function to reduce photo blurring caused by movement, auto macro and quick shutter functions to more properly focus photos, a high sensitivity mode to produce clearer shots with a bright background without the flash, a quick start function, a 2†TFT color LCD display, 3x optical zoom, a VGA video recording function and a compact design.
“The Z-110 and Z-120 is Casio’s solution to simplicity,†says John Clough, President of Casio, Inc. “It’s easy to use, making it perfect for people who don’t consider themselves “tech geeksâ€, and by the same token offers a graduate “manual†level that customers can switch to once they’ve become comfortable with all of our high quality technical features. These are easy-to-use high quality, affordable digital cameras, and Casio is proud to be able to offer the variety that we do in the digital camera arena.â€
