Anywhere Classroom traveled to San Francisco where it used the action of skateboarders and the filming of a music video to show off the camera’s features, as well as some general and practical information for photographers behind any camera. The episodes focus on features such as the use of art filters, how to use Burst Mode, navigating the Super Control Panel, and selecting a variable frame rate.
Photographer and videographer Austin Lottimer hosts the series. He demonstrates how and why he uses the different settings. Season four has three episodes that entertain as much as educate viewers on how they can use the features of their cameras. There are also additional video tutorials accompanying each episode, which offer in-depth tutorials on how to use those features.
While the tutorials can help photographers across the board, they are somewhat specific to the E-M5 Mark II. The video clips show users how to navigate the menu to set up Bust Mode and Variable Frame Rates, among other features. Still, many of these settings can be found on other cameras – you just need to know where they are.
Previous seasons of Anywhere Classroom traveled to the Colorado Rockies with photographer Jay Dickman; Cape Ann, Massachusetts with Alex McClure; and coastal Massachusetts with Larry Price. All episodes focus on the newest Olympus camera at the time.
