Digital Trends Names Andrew Budkofsky Chief Revenue Officer

PORTLAND, Ore., June 7, 2016 — Digital Trends announced the promotion of Andrew Budkofsky to the newly created position of Chief Revenue Officer. Budkofsky is now responsible for maximizing revenue across the company’s growing digital media portfolio, including its owned and operated websites and media network, as well as its programmatic and remnant revenue streams. He will lead the company’s effort to drive its revenue streams and identify new opportunities for growth. Budkofsky will continue to report to Digital Trends’ Chief Executive Officer, Ian Bell.

“Andrew has a track record of success, working with and developing solutions for advertisers across a broad array of media platforms,” said Bell. “He always puts clients first and has a terrific ability to target an advertiser’s message to the right audience at the right time, using the optimal combination of media for maximum impact.  Andrew is driven and creative and will continue to be a valued member of our management team.”

A member of the Digital Trends team since 2014, Budkofsky previously held the title of Executive Vice President of Partnerships and Sales.  Prior to joining Digital Trends, he was the Executive Vice President of Advertising Sales at Break Media (now Defy Media), and was responsible for developing and implementing Defy Media’s advertising sales strategy.  He also oversaw all of the network’s advertising sales, strategic planning, operations, and promotions initiatives. Budkofsky joined Defy Media from CourtTV (now truTV), where he was Vice President of Sales.

“I’m excited to take on this new role and continue to work with the incredibly talented and innovative people here at Digital Trends as we re-imagine what a media company can be,” said Budkofsky. “Digital Trends’ media portfolio reaches more than 100 million people, and there is tremendous potential for growth across our multiple media platforms.”

Budkofsky is a graduate of Boston University and has served as a consultant and advisor to a number of start-ups in the digital media world.
