Invaluable is bringing the art world together with the power of tech

Thought the art world was stuck in a past century? So did most of the world. That is, until Invaluable came along. The online art marketplace is bringing the rather antiquated notion of art auction houses into the 21st century, and now, the platform is allowing dealers, galleries, and auction houses alike to sell in the same space. That means that you, lover of art, will be able to access all the pieces all at once, so if you’re itching to redecorate or just looking to bring some culture into your home, you may want to check out Invaluable.

This marks the first time that the world’s premier art environments will be brought together in the same digital space, ultimately benefitting art collectors around the world. No longer will buyers have to go from place to place in order to find the perfect piece — rather, thanks to the digital platform, the middle man is all but eliminated. And with the new “Buy Now” button, enthusiasts will be able to make instantaneous purchases, rather than trading blows in attempts to outbid other interested parties.

Invaluable notes that its customers will have “unlimited access to the most sought-after arts and collectibles in primary and secondary markets from around the world,” and because the tech-savvy platform adapts to your taste, you’ll also “receive personalized recommendations based on previous browsing and purchase history.”

“We are working hard to unify what has historically been a fragmented market, and with the launch of ‘Buy Now,’ we are evolving our business to become the single destination marketplace for the most sought-after art and collectibles in the world,” said Invaluable CEO Rob Weisberg. “With a 67 percent increase in new buyers to the marketplace in 2015, the decision to expand our offerings was driven by customer demand. It will vastly increase the supply of rare and one-of-a-kind merchandise we offer — including both primary- and secondary-market works — making it easier to connect buyers with the things they love from the world’s premier auction houses, galleries, and dealers.”

Each participating gallery and dealer boasts a dedicated Invaluable page that gives interested buyers a full list of available inventory. To make the shopping experience a breeze, customers will be able to “favorite” certain items, or purchase others instantly.

“We are looking forward to working with Invaluable’s exceptional platform to expand our online presence and reach more global art buyers,” said Lucia Giudice Fucilli, owner of Puccio Fine Art, one of the galleries available in Invaluable.

And indeed, the online marketplace will make some of these dealers more palatable to a generation that may not have otherwise been exposed to this sort of art. “Invaluable has a firmly established footprint around the world and they cater to a client base that is very art- and antique-savvy, which is one of the primary reasons I’m excited to sell on their marketplace,” said Andrew Spindler-Roesle, owner of Andrew Spindler Antiques & Design. “I am always looking for new ways to connect with new clients, and I believe Invaluable will help us greatly expand our reach.”

For example, it has a triple brush mechanism that makes it great for picking up pet hair and does relatively well on carpeted flooring. It also has its own that allows you to schedule and control it to fit your schedule, and it comes with sensing technology that lets it avoid bumping into things. On the other hand, it doesn't have home mapping, which is great for the privacy-minded, but that does mean the occasional bump does happen. The Shark ION RV761 has about 90 minutes of battery life before it takes itself in for recharging.
